We had such a nice view and quiet room. However, your free breakfast was absolutely terrible. With that large of a group you definitely need more than 1 person preparing it and serving it. The tables weren't usually available and if they were they need to be wiped off before you would eat off of them. The hot food needed some help too! We did eat some cold cereal and bagle one morning but the rest of the time we walked down to "Toast Restaurant" for breakfast. Please don't blame the lady serving us. The room was very nice and clean. The staff was friendly. The breakfast in the morning wasn't the greatest so we ended up eating breakfast at restaurants for the remainder of our stay. My only real complaint about the room was the air conditioner was only in the one room and it was difficult to get the cool air all the way back to the second bedroom. Loved the sand along the beach on Lake Huron. Could use some more cleaning service - the trash cans were full throughout the property at all times. I only saw housekeeping in the hallways during check out time each morning & they weren't around at all the rest of the day. We asked for more towels & toilet paper & no one ever showed up. We bought tickets for Mackinac Island through the hotel & lost some of them.
