Room was clean and spacious, and staff was courteous. The only problem was the bathroom. It was so dark and bare; needs more lighting and maybe some wall decor. Also, the room itself could use some pictures on the walls to make it warmer. Generally, the say was very nice--the balcony view really made it.

The hotel was clean and the breakfast was more than we expected. The price was excellent. The parking lot was noisy during the night with motorcycles.

Old hotel with no recent updates. The rooms were relatively clean but outdated. The mattress was quite hard. The location though, is fantastic. Right next to the Arnold line ferry. The included in price breakfast was good. Limited seating and tables make it very busy mid-morning. Go early for best in-out time. It was always stocked with food.

The Days Inn Lakeview was good for what we were looking for. Cheap and close to the ferry. Significant savings when you do not need the fancy stuff. We would definitely use them again if still the cheapest.

Clean rooms and room service every day. Great complimentary breakfast. Conveniently located next to the Arnold Ferry so we could walk over to the ferry after breakfast. Friendly front desk personel.

The rooms were clean and roomy. They were clean and the maids were friendly and made up the rooms timely and very well. The assistance at the lobby desk was courteous and helpful. The only thing I was not happy with is that they advertised free Wi-Fi. I thought this was in the rooms but found it was only available in the lobby. The breakfast bar was excellent.

Everything was wonderful at the hotel, but I have 2 suggestions to make it better. First, WiFi capability in the rooms would be great. Currently it is only available in the lobby and this is not very convenient. Second, some variation in the breakfast would be nice. Sure, most people may only stay a night or two so they would not need the variation, however, when the stay is longer it would be nice to have some variety. Thanks!

Clean, very convenient to the ferry! The free breakfast was a nice bonus. We didn't use the pool but it looked very nice. If I had my kids with us the water park passes would have been nice.

My husband and I were there to celebrate our 5th anniversary. We stayed in Mackinaw on our honeymoon,(the Clarion next door), but decided on Days Inn because of the cost. We had a very nice room and looked over the lake. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We had a very nice stay and will be back again.

They went out of their way to make sure we were happy with our room and also guarenteed the same room to us when we returned from the island that next Friday. Loved staying at the days Inn Lakeview. Their rates were reasonable too!

This is a great location for everything you need in Mackinaw city with a reasonable price, right beside the ferry to the island, the pool and hot tub are fun, with also a beach to go to, the breakfast is a great start to the day and has all you really need for breakfast on the buffet. This is the second time we had visited this location and still nice.

The hotel room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was just ok. I expected a better quality in the breakfast food since that was one of the hotels big bragging points in its advertising.

Overall, the Days Inn provided an excellent hotel for someone who was not interested in staying in their room other than to sleep. The hotel was nice, but could use some updating, such as new televisions in the room and free Wi-fi internet like many other hotels offer. Also advertising direct beach access is a bit misleading as you have to walk quite a distance to a beach hat was shared with another hotel.

Very nice staff. i left my iPad behind and they called me to come and get it. liked the fact that we got 3 rooms next to each other and the doors led outside because we had a bunch of little kids and didnt have to bother other people.

The hotel was clean, the staff very cordial, and the room rate was very economical. The location was good, easy to find, and situated near a boat dock to the ferry. The continental breakfast was very adequate, and it was set up in an adjacent restuarant which was very spacious. The room was located on an outside corridor and there were no elevators, which was somewhat inconventient. The hotel was older, so the room decor was aging somewhat (TV, tub grout, etc.)

Hotel was clean, great location, and reasonable price. It would be nice to see some yogurt or fresh fruit on the breakfast bar. We were travelling across the country with a family of 6 and Mackinaw was an unexpected highlight. Wish we could have spent more time there. You have a special location and community!
