when my grandparents and i stay in this hotel we have a great time. We like to go swimming and visit the beach all the time. We love the breakfast in the mornings and we love mackinaw and the island. This is the best hotel i've ever stayed in with anybody.

My husband and I stayed here after having a horrible experience at another hotel. We checked out of the other one early and came here. The other hotel was going to charge us for an extra night that we didn't stay, and the manager at Best Western called the manager at the other hotel and got our charges removed! The whole staff was great at this hotel!! They made our 1st wedding anniversary fantastic! Next time we are in town, we are calling Best Western first!!

Very nice hotel for the money. Management was very helpful when we were not able to stay in our original Hotel we checked into. Nice breakfast and Pool!

This summer will be my family's third year in a row to visit Mackinaw City. For all of those years we have only stayed at the Best Western Dockside. The moment you walk into the breathtaking lobby filled with comfort, warmth, and of course magic, you will know that this is the right hotel. The guest rooms are spacious and nicely appointed. The views of the lake are excellent! Walking to anywhere in Mackinaw City is convenient and easy.
