we found our room to be PERFECT for us.. three sisters and a niece. we booked the 3 queen bedroom room,, on the first floor, with a balcony overlooking the lake. AWESOME. even in TORRENTIAL rain and wind. it was WONDERFUL. to see the whitecaps on the water. room. well not the Ritz but very good for us. it was clean, dry, and exactly what we had reserved. We were allowed to check in a tad early. The desk persons were excellent. we will deffinately stay here again.. an EXCELLENT experience.. the "breakfast".. well not for us. Need some REAL SIZE GLAZED DONUTS. but otherwise, all VERY good.

The guy at the front desk Mike was the so nice and helpful. He gave us a good deal for the 4th of July and it was right on the water so we watched the fireworks right from the room. We liked there pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, and there breakfast. They offer lots of deals for things around the area. One of my kids was sick and I was looking for delivery (not Just Pizza). Mike told me about Nonna Lisa’s its an Italian restaurant and they deliver there hole menu and there was a lot to chose from. The only problem with our stay was with being in the room so much with my son we watched a lot of TV, and the TV was small. When I told Mike about it he said that they ordered new plasma TV’s and not all of them came in, But he could put one in my room. This year only a three but if that new plasma’s in my room next year also maybe a 5.

This summer will be my family's third year in a row to visit Mackinaw City. For all of those years we have only stayed at the super 8 beachfront.The guest rooms are spacious and nicely appointed. The views of the lake are excellent! Walking to anywhere in Mackinaw City is convenient and easy. I love this Place and I highly suggest staying here if you are planning to go to mackinaw.Thanks Rick and crew for the wonderful hospitality, we will back next year and i hope to see you then take care and god bless

My family had a wonderful experience at the Super 8 Beachfront hotel in Mackinac City (2003). Our children greatly enjoyed the beach, pool and watching the boats travel to the island. My husband and I enjoyed the easy access (2 blocks) to the shops, walking distance to the ferries and tons of restaurants also within walking distance. We will be repeating our family vacation this year in July of 2005. We have recommended this location to many of our friends and family.
