Plenty of room in the loft but no night stands or hooks. Basically no place to put suit cases or hang clothes. Needs at least some hooks. An additional chair at least would be helpful. However, room descriptions on your website would be helpful as we selected “private chalet” thinking it would be a stand alone cabin but it was a duplex cabin with thin walls. WIFI did not work in the unit so we went to a spot by the empty pool when we needed to connect. All in all for what we needed the cabins were a good value.These comments are from a verified stay

10 out of 10The cabins were very clean and well-stocked with towels, accessories. The beds are very comfortable, the jacuzzi was in great shape and so relaxing and fun! Lovely appointments in cabins--very friendly and helpful staff members. I would only say to make sure the freezer units in your refrigerators are defrosted regularly (they ice up entirely). A unique and restful mini-getaway! Many thanks. (The chalets are as nice inside as cabins, but for aesthetics, I'd think of putting a log veneer on them too--it would make everyone happy).These comments are from a verified stay

8 out of 10We absolutely love the private 2 story log cabins. The only thing I recommend is cleaning and dusting a bit better there was still wristbands from the previous people on the floor. Also maybe re-caukling around the bath tub. Otherwise when we stay in mackinaw city we will always choose the cabins!These comments are from a verified stay

We were missing the door sign along with any TV listings/book showing a map of the property that would have normally been in the room. My guess is things have changed due to COVID? 8 out of 10Nice quiet cabin. We enjoyed staying there. Only downside was beds were quite firm and cabin wasn't well cleaned. But towels were nice and fluffy, having separate bedrooms was a bonus and loved having fridge, microwave and coffee pot. Location was excellent. You can walk to dinner and breakfast. Loved Toast a go-go and hotel had 2 for 1 on breakfast buffet. Resort was totally worth the price!These comments are from a verified stay

8 out of 10It was nice to have a cabin to ourselves, with a separate rooms, and the location was great (we walked across the street to the ferry). We didn't expect to use the indoor pool/waterpark next door but it felt great to do so after a long day walking on the island. The basics were good - cleanliness, comfort, price were all reasonable. The biggest complaint was that the wi-fi was quite poor. Thankfully we didn't need it much. There were some other small things - the bedrooms were literally barely bigger than the beds, there was no place to put soap in the otherwise nice shower, etc. But on the whole this worked well for us.These comments are from a verified stay

8 out of 10Generally the room was clean and orderly. The phone and alarm clock were found rolled up and under a table. Three of the lamps on one side of the room could not be turned on because the twist/turn knobs had been removed, probably by another patron. I reported the incident to the front desk. One of the lamps was working when we returned from dinner. However, it had to be unplugged to turn it off. Upon checking out I reported all to the front desk. There was a less than caring attitude, however the attendant was of a foreign extraction and I'm not sure he knew what I was talking about.
