8 out of 10Excellent location, walkable to anything, including shops, restaurants, ferry docks. It is a rustic location, so be prepared. Toiletries, bath towels, and bed sheets are provided. All other items need to be brought, so prepare accordingly (paper plates, etc). Pool, beach access, and a kid-friendly water park is available, too. We had a kitchenette in ours, which includes a fridge, microwave, and sink. It was not spotless, but it was not disgustingly dirty, either. Its directly across from Star Line ferry. Theres a small but fun water park right next to the lodge that is included for free. 8 out of 10I was really impressed with the cleanliness of our cabin. Everything worked properly and it was a beautiful stay! I DO wish, however, that we had a microwave in our room. The mini fridge and coffee maker were sufficient though for the most part. I also loved that we had access to surrounding hotel pools and hot tubs. 8 out of 10The cabins were comfortable and clean. We had another cabin attached to our cabin. Occasionally we could hear voices from the other cabin which made our dogs want to bark to protect us. It would have been great to have a single cabin unattached so the dogs would not need to protect our environment every time the others came and went. 8 out of 10The cabin was cute. It had two bedrooms and a bathroom. The beds are comfortable. I would bring my own pillow next time but that is personal preference. Our room did not have a coffee maker in it so bring your own if you like coffee. The room was clean and comfortable. Exactly what we were hoping for. 10 out of 10We had a great experience and had no issues making the reservation online and then getting checked in. The access to the pool and water park was great and location was awesome. We really enjoyed the uniqueness of staying in our own individual cabin instead of just a normal hotel room. Our kids loved it. The only complaints I have are 1) cleanliness was good but there were a couple places we noticed some dust and cobwebs. Nothing overly concerning but could tell it just hadn’t been deep cleaned in a while. And 2) the website didn’t offer a lot of detail about our unit. The cabin was great and exceeded expectations, but we really didn’t know what we were getting until we got there. 10 out of 10This is a sweet little gem of lodging! Walking distance to the Starline Ferry. Make sure to buy the tickets from the hotel and save $7 a person! These cabins gave us free access to the indoor water slide park next door! We had full access to the laundry and other amenities. Its easy walking distance to the downtown area also! When we booked this hotel, we thought we were staying on Mackinac Island. This is actually in Mackinaw City. 8 out of 10We really enjoyed the cabins. They were perfect for what we needed. Heat was completely off when we first got in and we had two conditioners bottles and no shampoo. Since it was a father son trip, it was no big deal. If my wife came with those conditions it might had been a bigger deal. My son and I really enjoyed them.These comments are from a verified stay
