Smoke alarm was unplugged, laying in window sill. The cabin was very tiny. The grounds were adequate, and the location was directly across from the Star Line Ferry, which we took each day to Mackinac Island. Just like many in the hotels and service industry, Cabins of Mackinaw seemed to be short staffed on housekeeping, and obtaining the items needed, additional towels, blankets, and other items was challenging at best. But the very kind woman at the front desk was wonderful, and accommodating, and made certain we received everything we needed.These comments are from a verified stay

10 out of 10AMAZING! We got upgraded from a 2 bedroom chalet to a cabin and loved the size! PERKS: you park right outside your door, waterpark/pools are a few steps away, short walk to Star Line and restaurants, clean rooms, friendly staff, pet friendly, and they came to our room immediately when we had an issue with one of the tv's. The cabin we stayed in was comfortably cozy but the water pressure was low for showers and our porch light could use some maintenance. The room was decorated nicely and was clean (except for food left in the refrigerator) It got cold at night but there were no extra blankets and the A/C-heater unit was somewhat noisy but that is typical for those types of units. A few concerns about maintenance - there was no smoke detector; however they fixed this when we asked; as well as the missing light bulbs. The exterior of the room does not match the interior; as the little porch outside the room is in need of painting & repair.
