(A great plus) But, there were some items that the hotel didn't have, that would have been an added plus. I ran the half marathon on Mackinac Island, and really needed simple carbs and fruit. The only fruit there was, was a fruit cocktail. Whole fruits, by themselves would have been great. Also, yogurt would be a plus. I loved that they had four waffle stations, so people didn't have to stand in line and wait while others used just one machine!These comments are from a verified stay

My only concern was what looks like a drainage ditch along west side of hotel with garden hoses running into it. It was fairly empty when we checked in but at night you could hear water running into it. In the morning it was full. Just seems a little fishy ,unsanitary and unsightly next to the lake.
