Pool is poor but the ability to go to the other indoor waterparks made that acceptable. The lake beach area was nice and you can walk out for a long while. Desk staff were helpful. Rooms were clean. The elevator/stair situation is difficult to figure out and no matter what in the lake view section you have to do stairs which is a problem with luggage. We have stayed at the Clarion twice now and will probably be back. Our stays are not long, so I guess we don`t put the staff to The Test, lol, but the hotel provides a good bed, cleanliness, nice TV and channel selection...things are they should be. Mackinaw merchants are nice, Clarion included. My wife and I love it, and we will be back because of its happy and relaxed vibe. Four stars that could be five, really.
