The only complaint would be that if you call the front desk for towels, it takes a long time to get them, you may even have to wait and call again several hours later, so be sure to call wayyyy before you need them!

My granddaughters thought it was the highlight of their trip, though we spent a week in the Keeweenaw! We'll certainly be back next year and try to spend a little more time there!

When we were standing outside the door of our room we were a bit worried of what we might see on the other side as we stayed on the 1st floor and the hallway to get there is like a basement with windows. To our delighted surprise when we opened the door, we were in AWE. Straight out of the patio is the beach and it is like a paradise. The room was decorated elegantly with beautiful furnishings and a seperate bath/toilet room. There is a fridge in the room so you can keep your fudge cool. It was definately a peaceful getaway. They don\'t allow pets so you can rest assured that fido hasn\'t slept in your bed. Recommendation: Eat at Annas across the street, have a pasty, and don't be afraid to say yes to sampling the fudge. You will definatly want to take some home to snack on as you reminisce about what a wonderful time you had. Be sure to request a room on the 1st floor lake side when you book. This hotel is set next to a pier where no boats come out of. Its a quiet and convenient location.

The motel has very helpful and friendly staff. The room was clean, big, and cozy. The breakfast is wonderful. Drawback to breakfast is that getting to the 3rd floor is cumbersome. It is great to have an exercise room, but that room is not in the best condition. I would definately consider coming back to this same motel the next time I visit Mackinaw City.

We had a good stay. We were only there 1 night. It was nice to be right on the beach. The beds were very hard and my back was sore the next morning. The breakfast was ok, nothing special. The hotel seemed clean and quiet. It was a good night.

This is the second year we have stayed at Best Western Plus Dockside. We reserved two rooms and were given a spacious suite. The rooms were very nice and very reasonably prices.

Great breakfast! Waffles were a favorite for everyone! Had a double queen room on the water...room was small but clean. Other downfall was that the hotel hallways were outside. Had to walk outside to breakfast, pool, front desk, etc...Hotel is in my eyes, the BEST location to walk to town. Would stay again.

We were very pleased with our stay at the Best Western Plus Dockside Waterfront. Our room was clean,comfortable and reasonable. The continental breakfast was very good. The water in the pool was very cold and there was a large game room with only 3 games in it, and one was out of order, but other than that, we were very pleased and would stay again!

Nice, clean room. Breakfast was good. Beach chairs nice for any time of day/night. Staff smiled occassionally. Price very high. My family and I are regulars and are quite often moved to a different hotel in the winter. Would give 5 stars if the check-in staff seemed like they cared and if there were some type of price concessions for frequent visitors to Best Western Plus Dockside.

Our room was very clean. Each staff member we came in contact with was quite helpful and friendly. Kids really enjoyed the beach. Within walking distance of shopping, restaurants, and ferries.

I had the best nights sleep that i have ever had staying at a motel. The bed was comfortable, the pillows were great and so was the staff. I will never stay at another motel when I come to Mackinaw. We were very impressed!
