The location was exceptional right across the street from Mackinac Island Ferry Company which is so close we walked over to catch the ferry to the island. There was privacy as well as the ability to get to downtown Mackinaw city very quickly. 8 out of 10The cabins were centrally located and made it nice for walking to the Ferry Docks and Mackinac Crossings. However, even though the cabins were nice and cozy, they were small in size and misleading when you booked. I booked a 3 room chalet but was not informed that the living room was included in those 3 rooms. The beds took up the whole room, there was no trash can in the bathroom and there was no shelving or anywhere to place things in the shower such as soap, shampoo, etc.These comments are from a verified stay

8 out of 10Cabin was very quaint but needed some maintenance. Deck in the front of our unit needed repair and our entry door stuck. Hot water heater went out on our last day. The pool at the adjoining property was horrendous...was a hot house with urine smell. Lifeguard was sitting outside because of these issues.Owners were very nice and property was convenient to everything we wanted to do. Shuttle service was fast and reliable. Our cabin was just the right size for our needs. We stayed in a two bedroom loft style unit with spiral staircase to the upper bedroom. Unit had a small refrigerator and a microwave, a log table with 4 chairs, couch and chair. Overall we were satisfied with the stay.These comments are from a verified stay

(to pretended It was in a remote secluded place / in the country) .. & it was heaven I enjoyed 3 tvs, a jacuzzi tub & rap around stairs to the loft! Had to switch cabins due to first one was smaller than expected, TV was not working and the blind in the bathroom was broken (can see straight in). Maintenance fixed the TV right away. Informed the front desk of a few other issues and requested a larger cabin. They were very accommodating and friendly. The cabins were clean but could do better hitting the corners and spider webs. Areas for improvement:Bed sheets didnt fully cover the bed and the blanket was very thin. The bathroom blinds were broken off (my husband rigged them up so they worked for our stay) and the carpet was rather dirty (it felt almost damp and our feet picked up a lot of dirt immediately). When we travel with our dogs, we are pretty flexible but I understand how those areas could be off-putting for others.Great location, friendly staff, nice price-point and a laid back atmosphere, which we love.
