Our room had a balcony facing the lake with beautiful sunrises. I was concerned initially bc our room was right across from the elevator, however we never heard anything. The rooms felt very private. 10 out of 10Best Western Plus Dockside Waterfront HotelBest Western Plus Dockside WaterfrontHotel Customer from Flint that stayed in September 2021My DAD was found dead in a Best Western hotel in Texas back in 1984..i had sworn that day that i would stay away from Best Western ever since.. this year, i had decided to give up old grievances and give Best Western another chance..i have to say that it was the 'best' hotel stay that i have had in my adult life..the room was clean, and the outside view from the room was great!..the only small negative that i had was the room jacuzzi didn't work properly (the controls to the jets didn't function well, and the on/off button was already pushed in so far, that it was stuck in the 'on' position)..the maid, Jarrette did such a great job with the room, that i left her a gracious tip!.. i'll be back..i was told that i can reserve a jacuzzi room again in October 2021 for the same event next year..(im smiling)...These comments are from a verified stay

However, the air conditioner had black spots on the plastic vent slats (mold, I assume). I went to the front desk to tell about it and a housekeeper was sent within 5-10 minutes. He wiped the vents with a rag but then got some "lysol" spray to spray in the air conditioner and the vents. He wiped the filters with his towel also, although they still needed more cleaning.
