The staff was VERY helpful in letting us know that Mackinac Island and 90% of the things to do on the island were closed. They called to confirm for us that all of the venues we had bought a package deal for were closed except for ferry service. It would suggest that the Mackinaw City Chamber of Commerce - specifically note that the early season venues are closed. We are unfamiliar with the area and seasons therefore had no idea that venues may be closed. We were disappointed we didn’t go to Mackinac Island however greatly appreciated the extra effort the staff made to see if other venues were open for us in the area and they also made suggestions for things to see and do.These comments are from a verified stay

Plus we were upgraded to a lakeside room, and our room was on the ground floor as requested, due to my husband having health problems. Great room, comfortable beds, breakfast was good. We'll be back.
