The Beach House Overview
Seven cottages sit directly on the beachfront the others back up in a U shape from the beach. Everyone staying at the Beach House has access to our private beach.
The Beach House is pet friendly (small pet fee) with 2 animals maximum. All hotel rooms in Michigan are non smoking. Smoking is permitted outdoors.

10 out of 10The room was nicely remodeled, exceptionally clean, and still retained an old cottage feel. The view of Mackinac Island was lovely, and the beach was wonderful fine sand. People were enjoying small fires on the beach at night, and plenty of outdoor furniture provided. We used the very warm pool and hot tub, and walked to town and the ferry on the nicely paved sidewalk. Shuttle service to the ferries was also provided, and ran frequently. The innkeeper was very professional, and helpful. Personally we prefer to stay at a vintage resort, so if you’re looking for bling, you’re booking wrong place. Dog friendly places are very hard to find! We would definitely recommend it for people looking for a quaint convenient place to stay, and are looking forward to returning again.These comments are from a verified stay

10 out of 10Great hotel in a great location. The water views and great lawn were awesome. We enjoyed sitting on the lawn and taking in the scenery, sights and sounds. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed dining in at your hotel restaurant. It offered us outstanding service and a menu with a lot of variety and selections. The only area of improvement we saw was at check-in. Less than five people waiting to check in, and it took 20 - 25 minutes to get our room. 10 out of 10I loved being right on the beach without having to portage my house to pay for it. I also loved the heated pool. The only problems were that the drain closure in the tub didn't stay open to allow the water to drain quickly and it would be nice if there were more accessible outlets for recharging electronics. 10 out of 10We have been coming here for years and love the atmosphere. The cabins have been updated recently. Beds and pillows are very comfortable. Clean, beautiful view and bonfires on the beach every night. Shuttles available to town, just call the manager and he will arrange it for you! Manager is very helpful. 10 out of 10I absolutely adore The Beach House. By far one of my favorite places I’ve ever stayed at. We stayed in cottage 31, right next to the road, and never had an issue sleeping. We even napped in the middle of the day when traffic is the most loud, and was never woken up once. These beach houses get a 10/10 in my book! Love this place.These comments are from a verified stay

The rooms and cabins are kept very clean, and we’re exactly what we were hoping for. I have been to Mackinac city many times and have passed by this I never knew what a great place it was. I am so happy to have stayed there and will definitely do it again. The beach is literally in the backyard, you get a heated pool, and free day passes to the indoor water park next door. Everything was very clean and well managed.
