The Beach House Overview
Seven cottages sit directly on the beachfront the others back up in a U shape from the beach. Everyone staying at the Beach House has access to our private beach.
The Beach House is pet friendly (small pet fee) with 2 animals maximum. All hotel rooms in Michigan are non smoking. Smoking is permitted outdoors.

10 out of 10The location and simplicity of the cabins right off the beach is the draw. The accommodations are minimal and clean. The kitchenette is a coffee maker, microwave and small fridge. There are grills available however they are pretty janky-we made the best of it and ate out most of our meals.These comments are from a verified stay

Big detractor from 5 stars though was nasty stained couch ;( Would have appreciated a few more amenities in the kitchenette for the price. 8 out of 10We loved our stay in the private cabin! It was cozy, quiet, and came with a small kitchenette, which was perfect for simple meals. The private beach access was a huge bonus, and the indoor pool was a nice option as well.The cabin came fully stockedshower essentials, bedding, towelsso we didnt need to bring much at all. It felt like a hotel, but with all the comforts of a home away from home.The only downside for us was the pet policy. We couldnt bring our dog into the lake because wet dogs werent allowed back into the cabin, and we also werent allowed to leave our dog alone inside, which made it hard to explore places that didnt allow pets. If the flooring were laminate or hardwood, it would make cleanup easier and maybe allow for more flexibility with pets.Aside from that, it was a great experience, and wed definitely come back!These comments are from a verified stay

10 out of 10Cabin 27 was perfect! there are a few things that I might recommend just to make things a little bit easier, the sleeping area closest to the closet , and on the same wall as the bathroom, maybe add a small shelf. 10 out of 10The manager was extremely helpful since I had reserved a cabin that would not have accommodated 3 people (although I had there was 3 of us in the booking app). The location was awesome. There were grills available to use as well as items in the office if you didn't want to eat out the whole time. We used the pool and hot tub as well as sat on the beach.
